Texture and Messy Art – Ages 7–12 years

Get ready to squish, stamp, roll and experiment in this fun and hands-on Texture & Messy Art workshop! In this creative session, kids will explore how artists use everyday materials to create exciting textures and patterns in their artwork. Using tools like stencils, bubble wrap, cling wrap, sponges and other surprising materials, students will layer paint and experiment with different techniques to build a vibrant textured artwork. This workshop is all about creative play and discovery. There are no strict rules—just lots of opportunities to experiment, try new ideas and enjoy the process of making art. Kids will learn how different materials create unique marks and textures while developing confidence in their own artistic style.
