Clay Play - Ages 9 - 12 years

Older kids can dive into the world of sculpture with this Clay Play session designed especially for ages 9–12. Using white air-dry clay, students will learn how to shape, build and refine their own clay creations while exploring simple sculpting techniques. From animals and decorative pieces to imaginative characters and small keepsakes, each child will create a unique artwork to take home. Because the clay is white and dries naturally, creations can also be painted at home once fully dry, allowing students to continue the creative process beyond the class. This session encourages creativity, patience and problem solving, while introducing kids to the basics of three-dimensional art in a relaxed and supportive studio environment.
